The short answer

An IV or hydration clinic's recurring paperwork is mostly about who orders and gives the IV, and staff safety. In Texas, Jenifer's Law (HB 3749) has applied to elective IV therapy since Sep 1, 2025: it must be ordered by a physician, or a PA or APRN under delegation, and given only by a PA, APRN or RN. Every clinic with exposed staff keeps an OSHA bloodborne pathogens plan (reviewed at least yearly), trains staff at assignment and every year, and offers the hepatitis B vaccine within 10 working days. DEA registration renews every 3 years if you handle controlled substances. In Florida, you and your attorney decide whether an AHCA clinic license or an exemption applies.
